We are delighted to announce another excellent set of A level and BTEC results at Abbot Beyne School. Our students have excelled and made outstanding progress over the last two years. We are especially proud of the following students who have worked incredibly hard.
● Zunaira Naeem has achieved A grades in Biology and Psychology and a grade C in Chemistry and is going to study Dentistry at the University of Birmingham.
● Raghav Saini has achieved a Distinction* in Business Studies, a grade A in Geography and a grade B in Economics and is going to Aston University to study Finance.
● Ash Vitkute has achieved an A* in English Literature, a grade A in Psychology and a grade C in History and is going to study Law at the University of Exeter.
Headteacher Jamie Tickle said, “We are so proud of the students who have achieved so well this summer. As a school we have again seen improvements in our results and are continuing to grow and develop our Sixth Form provision. We wish all of our students well as they start the next stage of their lives.”
Destinations
We are very proud of our students’ achievements and destinations. The majority of our students who wished to progress to university gained places at one of their chosen institutions, including the very best universities and the most challenging courses. Other students progressed successfully into apprenticeships or work with training.
We are very proud that more of our students are now gaining entry to Russell Group Universities and onto Medicine courses. Recent destinations include:
